Who we are and how to contact us
ElevateU Tech is the company operating this website, with operations in Ireland and Nigeria. ElevateU Tech is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email admin@elevateutech.com or use our contact form and mark your message “Privacy”.
Information we collect
Applications contain your name, email address, country, chosen program, experience level, learning goals and confirmations. Enquiries contain your name, email address, enquiry category and message. We also keep correspondence and records needed to handle your request.
Our website and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and access or delivery logs to operate and protect their services. Please do not send passwords, card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through these forms.
Why we use your information
We use application details to assess your interest and suitability, manage admissions and communicate next steps. We use enquiry details to answer your questions. If you ask for updates about a future course or scholarship, we use your contact details to send the updates you requested.
Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, handling an application can involve steps you request before entering an enrolment agreement. Our legitimate interests include answering enquiries, keeping appropriate records and protecting our services. Requested course or scholarship updates rely on your consent; you can withdraw it by emailing us. We may also retain or disclose information where a legal obligation requires it.
Admissions decisions are reviewed by people; submitting a form does not result in an automated acceptance or rejection. Required fields help us process your application or enquiry. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to do so.
Who handles your information
Authorised members of the ElevateU Tech team use your information to handle your application or enquiry. Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions, and Purelymail provides our business email service. Information needed for your request may be held in our admissions and enquiry records. We may share information where required by law or necessary to address a legal claim.
Our service providers may process information in countries outside your own. You can contact us for details about the providers, locations and data-transfer arrangements relevant to your information.
Cookies and website services
This website does not include advertising or behavioural analytics scripts. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to deliver them, including your IP address and browser request details. Hosting and security services may process technical information to serve pages, prevent abuse and handle submissions.
How long we keep information
We retain unsuccessful applicant records for up to 12 months after the admissions decision, unless a different period is required by law or the record is needed to resolve an active enquiry, complaint or appeal.
We keep other enquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to answer the request, complete the resulting admissions or support process, and resolve related issues. We review requested course or scholarship updates when the opportunity is resolved or you ask us to stop. If you enrol, information needed to administer your course becomes part of your student record; we will explain the relevant student-record arrangements during enrolment.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and ask us to stop course or scholarship updates at any time. Email admin@elevateutech.com with your request. We may need information to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal records.
You can raise a concern with us and exercise your right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority. In Ireland, contact the Data Protection Commission. In Nigeria, contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. You may also have the right to contact another competent authority, depending on where you live or work or where the issue occurred.
We will update this notice when our services or information practices change.
